Born in Georgia and lived in 8 states and have called Pueblo home for the last 26 years. I have two kids, Taylor, 29 who works and lives in Pueblo and Nic, 21 , a senior at CSU- Ft. Collins. Married to Neal who retired from a long career at US Forest Service. Pre Covid I spent all my extra money traveling and attending as many concerts as possible! I was employed in healthcare for the past 30 years while volunteering in our community. I have served on the Board of Directors for Boys and Girls club, the Junior League of Pueblo as President as well as a member for over 20 years. Have volunteered with Girl Scouts, chaired the Pueblo Health Expo and created the Pueblo Health Challenge directed by the Pueblo city county Health Department. It’s been a pleasure to work with like-minded community leaders and make a difference in the lives of families in our town.
Most recently I served on the Posada Board of Directors. I am excited to join the staff and work to bring about positive change for Pueblo’s citizens with the introduction of new programs the organization is developing. My work with the agency will first focus on the opening of Pueblo’s only non-congregate shelter to provide quarantine and recovery for Pueblo’s homeless population.
