POSADA of Pueblo

Bringing Pueblo Home

Thank you Pueblo!

Posada is grateful for our supporters and the generous Pueblo community, thank you for making a lasting impact.

DONATE TODAY!
Note to our donors

Posada’s Enterprise Zone Tax credit category - Homeless Housing and Employment Services expired December 2021 and we were not able to qualify for the 2022 category – Workforce Housing due to our next proposed housing development being located outside of the Enterprise Zone map. A group of Colorado non-profits that serve the same populations we serve have introduced a bill to establish a Homeless Tax Credit that Posada will qualify for to offer our donors, but we are not certain when (and if) this bill will pass for implementation in 2023. We will keep you updated on the status of this bill and hope to offer this to your our donors with your 2023 contributions. Please call or email me if you have any questions

POSADA of Pueblo Support Services

Elko Family Emergency Shelter

This is Pueblo’s ONLY family shelter that keeps a family together in a single family setting to ensure their privacy as they work collectively with Posada.

Support Services

A Posada case worker provides referrals to homeless families with children for shelter, food, employment assistance, and reviews options for low-income housing, identifies community resources and programs to obtain self-sufficiency.

Housing Programs

Posada’s Permanent Housing Program addresses the need of housing for homeless families with children and individuals. Clients are provided rent and security deposit assistance to secure stable housing.

Youth Services

We offer a Transitional Housing Program for homeless youth ages 18-24. Please ask us about vacancies and applying for this program if you are interested.

How You Can Help

Although monetary gifts and contributions to Posada are crucial in order to continue our mission, you are not limited to financial donations.

We welcome anyone willing to volunteer to help people at Posada to contact us, and we will help you complete the steps to giving your time and talent to charity. We are looking for organizations to adopt a room at the Elko Family Emergency Shelter used for emergency shelter for homeless families. For more information contact us at 719-545-8776.

Posada is always looking for donations of people’s time and skills.
