DONATE TODAY!Posada’s mission is to provide housing and supportive services that empower homeless individuals and families in Pueblo County to become self-supporting members of the community.
Emergency Shelter
This is Pueblo’s ONLY family shelter that keeps a family together in a single family setting to ensure their privacy as they work collectively with Posada.
Support Services
A Posada case worker provides referrals to homeless families with children for shelter, food, employment assistance, and reviews options for low-income housing, identifies community resources and programs to obtain self-sufficiency.
Housing Programs
Posada’s Permanent Housing Program addresses the need of permanent housing for homeless youth and individuals with disabilities. Clients are provided assistance with rent and the rental deposit to secure stable housing.
Youth Services
We offer a Transitional Housing Program for homeless youth ages 18-24. Please ask us about vacancies and applying for this program if you are interested.
Although monetary gifts and contributions to Posada are crucial in order to continue our mission, you are not limited to financial donations.
We welcome anyone willing to volunteer to help people at Posada to contact us, and we will help you complete the steps to giving your time and talent to charity. We are looking for organizations to adopt a room at the Elko Avenue Apartments that are used for emergency shelter for homeless families. For more information contact us at 719-545-8776.

We are in need of groups or individuals with:
- Maintenance skills
- Landscaping and property maintenance skills
- Organizations can adopt a room at the Elko Emergency Family Shelter.
- Volunteers are needed to assist with the daily activities of the Youth Drop-in Center.
