    To help the homeless get back on their feet and provide them with personal care items, we are always looking for those willing to donate personal care items, cleaning supplies, gently used socks and much more.

    Donations are accepted from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday at 225 Colorado Avenue.

    Posada is in need of the following donations:
    Heavy duty trash bags
    Refrigerator
    Freezer
    Laundry Detergent
    Razors
    Tooth brushes
    Tooth paste
    Foot powder
    Body soap
    Shampoo/conditioners
    Nail clippers
    Sewing kits

  • Volunteer

    Although monetary gifts and contributions to Posada are crucial in order to continue our mission, you are not limited to financial donations.

    We welcome anyone willing to volunteer to help people at Posada to contact us, and we will help you complete the steps to giving your time and talent to charity. We are looking for organizations to adopt a room at the Elko Avenue Apartments that are used for emergency shelter for homeless families. To volunteer for Posada, you must print out the Volunteer Application below, fill it out, then return it to Posada via fax or email. After your application is submitted you will receive a phone call from the Community Relations Coordinator to discuss volunteer opportunities. For more information contact Christina Trujillo at 719-545-8776.

    Posada is always looking for donations of people's time and skills.

    We are in need of groups or individuals with:
    Maintenance skills
    Landscaping and property maintenance skills
    Organizations can adopt a room at the Elko Emergency Family Shelter.
    Volunteers are needed to assist with the daily activities of the Youth Drop-in Center.

  • Monetary Donations

    We’re always grateful for any monetary donations to Posada. Our funds primarily go towards building better housing, programs and necessary items such as: soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, shoes, clothing, sleepwear, razors, jackets, gloves, socks, pants, shirts, hats, glasses, and much more.

    All monetary donations go towards building a better and brighter future for those who are less fortunate in the Pueblo community.

    Enterprise Zone Contribution Project
    Posada received designation as an Enterprise Zone Contribution Project in 2013. The benefit to this status is that monetary donations above $250.00 are eligible to claim Colorado State income tax credits of 25% of their donation. In-kind donations valued at $250.00 or higher annually are eligible to receive a 12.5% income tax credit.

    • Please make checks payable to "Enterprise Zone Coordinator" and send them to Posada at 225 Colorado Avenue Pueblo, Colorado 81004.
    • Taxpayer ID number is needed (FEIN, social security number or Colorado Account number).
    • If you are uncomforatable providing your social security number - All Colorado taxpayers have a Colorado Account Number and you can request it by visiting www.colorado.gov/revenueoline
    • Pueblo County will send a certificate to you that you can attach to your tax return.
